Trends appear to be very important in today’s life you can see that through ads, brands and how the people around us behave. Trends are a thing of the past, present and future. We deal with them in our daily life, even if we do not notice it. Of course, when you start looking at something more closely and on a different level, you understand that every thing is part of a (recent) trend.
A trend starts with e.g. a world wide change in view, perception, thought, judgement, or feeling and manifests itself in a mega trend. What follows is a certain scene, a maxi trend, which then turns into a change or addition to our daily lives.
An example could be the fact that there is an increase of nuclear threat worldwide from countries like North Korea and Iran, which could be considered as a mega trend. What follows is an increased need for security; the maxi trend. This need will then change into a physical appearance, i.e. a product, service or movement.
